Bogd Khan Mountain, located just south of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is one of the world’s oldest legally protected nature reserves, gaining protection in 1778. Hiking routes vary in difficulty, with popular trails leading to Tsetsee Gun, the mountain’s highest peak.
