Horse Riding Tour In Home of Nomads

This tour also offers you to visit Mongolia’s most attractive and top destinations, such as, Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, ancient city Kharkhorum, Erdenezuu Temple, Orkhon River, Tuvkhun Temple, Ugii lake and Hustai national park.  TOUR ITINERARY

DAY 1. ARRIVE IN ULAANBAATAR
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar city. Transfer to hotel, Welcome dinner at local restaurant.


DAY 2. ELSEN TASARKHAI - KHARKHORIN 
After breakfast at hotel we will drive to karakorum which was a capital city of Mongolia in 13th century. On the way, we'll stop at Elsen tasarkhai sand dunes for lunch and camel riding.  At night we will have dinner and stay at GER camp in Karakorum.


DAY 3. KARAKORUM – EIGHT LAKES ECO GER CAMP
After breakfast, this day starts with visiting to Kharakhorum museum and Erdene Zuu monastery. Lunch at Arvaikheer capital of Uvurkhangai province one of the horse land in Mongolia, and we will visit Horse spirit complex. Later on, we will head to ger camp, dinner will be served in the camp.

DAY 4. EIGHT LAKES ECO GER CAMP - SHIREET LAKE
This morning after breakfast we will start our horse riding tour. Picnic lunch on our way, first destination will be the biggest lake Shireet, which is perfect for photo shooting and camping overnight. We highly recommend this area for our customers who want to experience real wild nature with no man has settled.  In the evening sit near the bonfire, sing along together and have our dinner. 


DAY 5. SHIREET LAKE – KHUIS LAKE
On second day of horse riding, we will ascend to the Khuis lake Naiman Nuur area  through a valley locked by the mountains with eight small underground connected lakes where yet no cars can go.  We will camp at nomad family, who is the only family lives there and visit to nearby lakes of Naiman nuur - Duruu and Bayan. Lunch and dinner will served at Khuis lake.


DAY 6. KHUIS LAKE – BUURUG LAKE
Breakfast at Khuis lake, then head to Buurug lake. This day we will ride into the beginning of Orkhon Valley, will have more chance to observe the local nomad families and a herd of Mongolian domesticated animals. Additionally, will pass by Tsagaan Azragiin Nuur which has interesting epic. Overnight we will stay nearby Buurug Lake and have dinner.


DAY 7. BUURUG LAKE – ULAAN TSUTGALAN WATERFALL
This day is the last day of our horse riding, after breakfast will head to ger camp at Ulaan Tsutgalan and have lunch in the restaurant, later on it is the time to say goodbye to our herdsmen and lovely horses.  Get some rest in the camp and walk around the Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall area. Overnight have dinner at the camp and stay. 


DAY 8. UGII LAKE
Early depart to the Ugii lake. On the way to Ugii Lake, visit to Tuvkhun monastery and ascend one of the biggest pass in Khotont soum, Arkhangai province and drive to Ugii lake. Bird watching and fly fishing are available. Stay overnight at tourist camp. 


DAY 9. DRIVE BACK TO ULAANBAATAR
After having breakfast drive back to Ulaanbaatar city. On the way to UB arrive in Khustai National Park during lunch time. After lunch visit to Khustai National park to see wild horse Takhi also called Przewalski, deer and other wild animals, which will take around 2 hours. Continue driving to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. Dinner at restaurant in the city. 


DAY 10. DEPARTURE
In the morning quickly shop for souvenirs and local products. Departure to Airport.
