Winter horse festival tour
Since Mongolia is known as the land of the horse, and Mongols have a reputation for being the best horsemen on Earth. Behind all this is the traditional horse culture, especially their unique skill during winter. Our main purpose is to keep this horse culture and spread it to the world through the Winter Horse Festival event.
It is possible to see the highest number of horses and horse herders at one time.

DETAIL TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1. ARRIVE IN CHINGGIS CITY AND PREPARE FOR THE FESTIVAL
After breakfast, drive to Chinggis city center of Khentii province from Ulaanbaatar city. On the way have lunch at Tsenkhermandal soum, dinner at Chinggis city.
DAY 2. OPENING CEREMONY | COMPETITION | PERFORMANCE
After breakfast, For two unforgettable days, experience the Winter Horse Festival’s colorful parades and thrilling competitions. Have lunch in the camp restaurant. Attend the official opening and to see Horse-Breeders Relay competition, including catching a horse, taming, and training. The celebration dinner and a Nomadic family. We will see and attend a song competition “Song about Horse is who is the best singing song”.
Overnight stay in the guest house.
DAY 3. AWARDS CEREMONY AND CHINGGIS CITY
Today we will join again locals and attend the Short Horse Race and Mongolian hunter dog Taiga competition. The first three winners of horses are awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals. Lunch in the restaurant.
Dinner at local nomadic family, to see traditional lifestyle closer. We will have an opportunity to ride a horse and take unforgettable loads of pictures. And stay in the nomad family.
DAY 4. DEPARTURE
After breakfast, you may choose an optional city tour where you can visit cashmere and souvenir stores before departure. (B)
